The French Door is a wooden door design. It’s available in every wood type possible in that particular Minecraft version.
We designed the French Door with the default acacia wooden door for inspiration. One of the reasons for this mod was, that we wanted every door design in every wood tone. Like default doors, this door don’t block light.
|Catches fire from lava||No|
|Can opened by||Hand/Redstone|
|Can villager open||Yes|
First, you need to cut 2 wooden panels of the wood you would like as a door. Next, you combine the wooden panels and 1 iron ingot in the crafting table to 2 Blank Doors. Last, you put the Blank Door in the table saw and select the French Door design.
Independent of the block state, the door can be opened by villagers.
The French Door can only be placed on full solid blocks. Place this door like you would place a default door in Minecraft.

Opening and Redstone component
By default, the French Doors can be opened by hand or Redstone.
If the door is in the block state “Redstone only” or “both“, it can be opened by a Redstone signal. For example, by placing a Redstone block next to one of the door blocks and placing a Redstone torch beneath it.
The door can be opened by hand, if it is in the block state “hand only” or “both“. If a door is in the block state “nothing“, it cannot be opened. The settings can be changed with the ManyIdeas core item “Redstone key”.
